The Water of Life NYC is proud to announce its first ever Water of Life Fall Event, the WOLF, for November 15th 2017.
The inspiration for the event, is the generous donation of a bottle of York House Liqueur, a Blend of Whiskies, by its proud owner, Colin Dunn, Whisky Ambassador for Diageo.
Colin, a firm believer of "whisky was made to be drank and not looked at", thought this bottle should be enjoyed by whisky lovers who would appreciate it, and wanted a charity to benefit from the proceeds.
He had only one requirement, that the bottle be opened in the store that originally sold it some 75 or so years ago, Macy's New York.
As such Collin will be flying in to host the first ever Master Class in the Herald Square flagship, at the bar and grill on the One Below level.
But we all know that no matter how good it is, one dram does not a class make, and as such guests will be treated to a selection of Mortlach Whiskies, the primary component in York House.
Once the class is completed, guests will be escorted all the way across the street to Keen's Steakhouse, where they will be greeted by 20 or so other whisky ambassadors from NYC and around the globe, to enjoy a wonderful meal paired with unique and rare whiskies from some of their favorite brands. No self-respecting WOLF would pass up their world famous Mutton either.
The night will conclude with cigars.
All proceeds will be donated to the Life Raft Group to use in the fight against GIST.
So be a social animal like the WOLF would, and enjoy a night of unicorns, mutton and cigars and join is as we raise our glasses and "Drink Whisky to Fight Cancer" on November 15.
